Centrifuge Star City

The training center of cosmonaut is called as star city during 1960’s and as the years pass on it got its new structure and its name also renamed accordingly in 1968 it is named as Y.A.Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center and this is named because of the first earth’s astronaut and later it got the name as GCTC- Y.A. Gagarin State Scientific Research and Testing Cosmonaut Training Center in order to increase its efficiency of space flights in both scientific and technical aspects.

In the tour of centrifuge training you are provided with an opportunity of seeing the world’s biggest Centrifuge TsF-18. This centrifuge program helps the astronauts to learn about that and also trains military pilots and tests the space equipments.
